On the label: “Very resistant yarn, perfect for socks.” A 50g ball is generally enough for a pair of ankle socks for an adult. Most adults require more than 50g for a pair of socks with a longer leg, usually between 65 - 100g depending on exactly how long the leg and foot sections are, as well as how wide you’re making it. Please note that Goomy 50 comes in 50g balls, so for the average adult pair of socks you will require two balls. Baby socks require between 12 - 18g for a pair and kid socks require anywhere from 20g to 50g or more for a pair, depending on the child’s shoe size of course.
